Recently, Mr. Walter contacted S&A by dialing 400-600-2093 for consulting the appropriate water chiller for cooling DPSSL. S&A Chiller CW-6100 for Cooling Thailand UV LED Light Source of Silk Printing Machine

A Thailand customer specializes in producing silk printing machines and the UV LED light source of the printing machine needs to be cooled by water chillers. S&A Closed-Loop Water Chiller CW-5300 for Cooling 2OOW YAG Laser Cleaning Machine

Industrial laser cleaning technique has a wide variety of applications, including aviation, automobile, high-speed train, vessel, nuclear power and so on. It aims to remove the rust, oxide film, coating, painting, oil stain, microorganism and nuclear particle from the surface. In the past three years, many institutes, universities and companies have been showing more and more interests in laser cleaning technique and begin the research and production of laser cleaning machine. During the operation of the laser cleaning machine, industrial water chiller is necessary to be equipped in order to provide effective cooling for the laser.

An Iranian institute, one of S&A customers, also begins the research on laser cleaning technique in which YAG laser with 200W light emitting power is adopted. The salesman of that institute, Mr. Ali, selected S&A CW-5200 water chiller by himself to cool the YAG laser. However, after he got to know the cooling capacity and other parameter, he found that CW-5200 water chiller can't meet the cooling requirement of the laser. In the end, with the professional knowledge, S&A recommended CW-5300 water chiller which is characterized by the cooling capacity of 1800W and the temperature control accuracy of ±0.3℃. It has two temperature control modes, suitable for different occasions. Mr. Ali mentioned that he would like the CW-5300 water chiller to be customized as rack mount type. S&A Industrial Chiller CW-6200 for Cooling Three 150W CO2 Laser Tubes

Mr. Francois works for a French company which specializes in producing high power integrated CO2 laser tubes and each tube is 150W. His company is now trying to fold 3 laser tubes or 6 laser tubes but it is still at R&D stage. As we all know, industrial chillers play an important role in cooling CO2 laser tubes to keep them working normally and avoid cracking because of high temperature. 

 

Mr. Francois has been using S&A CW-6200 water chiller to cool 3 CO2 laser tubes and it has great cooling performance. But lately, he found that the cooling effect of the chiller was not so good in summer. According to S&A experience, the chiller may have this problem after being used for a long time, mainly due to the following reasons:

 

1.The heat exchanger inside the chiller is very dirty. Please clean the heat exchanger accordingly.

2.The Freon leaks from the chiller system. Please find out and weld the leakage point and then refill the refrigerant.

3.The chiller is running in a terrible environment (i.e. ambient temperature being too high or too low), which makes the chiller fail to meet the cooling requirement of the equipment. In this case, please select another appropriate chiller.

 

Mr. Francois followed the suggestion and solved the problem by cleaning the heat exchanger in the end.
