The difference between laser marking machine and laser engraving machine

Many people mix the laser marking machine and the laser engraving machine, thinking that they are the same kinds of machines. Well, technically speaking, there are subtle differences between these two machines. Today, we are going to go deeper into the differences of these two.


1.Working principle

Laser marking machine uses laser beam to vaporize the surface material. The surface material will have chemical change or physical change and then the inside material will be exposed. This process will create the marking. 

Laser engraving machine, however, uses laser beam to engrave or cut. It actually engraves deep into the material. 

2. Applied materials

What is the difference between laser cutting machine and plasma cutting machine?

Advantage of using CO2 laser for tag cutting

The development and revolution of digital printing technology has greatly changed the situation of tag making. With flexible printing design, various shape needs to be cut.
