1. Cooling performance

Water cooling, as its name suggests, uses circulating water to take away the heat generated by the high speed rotating spindle. However, air cooling just uses cooling fan to dissipate the spindle’s heat and it is easily affected by the ambient temperature. 2. Noise level

3. Frozen water problem

And if users don’t notice this problem and run the spindle directly, the spindle may be broken in just a few minutes. But this could be dealt with by adding diluted anti-freezer into the chiller or adding a heater inside. For air cooling, this is not a problem at all.
