Recently, a customer reflected that there was a
problem with a CW-5000 chiller, the temperature controller display E1
code alarm which means over high room temperature alarm. Generally
speaking, when the room temperature is over 40℃, the alarm sounds.
However the room temp around 20℃ at that time. Therefore, the customer
doubted the room temperature sensor to be the problem.
Firstly, we suggest to restore to factory setting, the operation step as below:
Before machine startup, press and hold ▽△ bottons until the
controller displays rE, 6seconds later releasing the buttons, all
parameters values setting of the controller have been restored to
factory settings.
Please press ▽ botton to show the room temperature. If the room
temperature displays in normal, the sensor is failure, we should change
it.
As the chiller CW-5000 works in defaulted intelligent control mode.
The water temperature is adjusted according to room temperature. Now we
should change to constant temperature mode which needn’t temperature
sensor work and can constant at a certain temperature.

After you replace a new sensor，and restore to factory setting again.
