How to change the filter elements of S&A fiber laser water chiller CWFL-1000?

S&A fiber laser water chiller CWFL-1000 has 3 filters including two wire-wound filters which are used to filter the impurities in the waterways of high temperature system and low temperature system respectively in order to keep the recirculating water clean and one de-ion filter which is used to filter the ion in the circulating water in order to provide good protection for the laser.

 

One Czech customer owns a CNC laser cutting machine and he previously purchased S&A fiber laser water chiller CWFL-1000 to cool Raytools cutting head and IPG laser source of 1000W. He recently contacted S&A on how to change the filter elements. Changing the filer elements is quite simple. Below are the detailed steps: 

 

1. Prepare the related tools including new filter element, spanner and screwdriver;

2. User the screwdriver to remove the sheet cover of the chiller;

3. Unscrew the filter housing and take out the filter element;

4. Change it with the new filter element;

5. Screw back the filter housing;

6. Screw the filter by spanner;

7. Reassemble the sheet cover
