Is 1000W fiber laser medium-power laser or high-power laser?

Fiber laser can be classified into 3 levels based on the output power. Low-power fiber laser (<100W) is mainly applied in laser marking, hole-drilling, high-precision processing and metal engraving. Medium-power fiber laser (<1.5KW) is mainly used in metal cutting & engraving and surface refurbishment of metal. High-power fiber laser (>1.5KW) is mainly used in the cutting of thick metal board and the 3D processing of special board. Fiber lasers with different powers should be equipped with water chillers with different cooling capacity to guarantee the cooling of the water chillers can meet the cooling requirement of the laser machines.
