The cooling of Max 800W fiber laser with S&A CW-6100 water chiller

President He is humor and generous. We’ve made the acquaintance of President He through a laser customer that S&A is very familiar with. President He’s company had been using the fiber lasers of some inferior brands or the counterfeit S&A water chillers. However due to various reasons, President He now decides to “mend his ways”, giving up the inferior brands and choosing the genuine S&A water chiller, after he has made the acquaintance of S&A and got to understand that S&A water chiller is warranted with good quality.

S&A CW-5200 water chiller for cooling CRDlaser 30W metal RF tube

In the laser industry, metal RF tube has always been applied to the following devices, including cutting machine, welding machine and marking machine etc. However most of the users would like to choose the foreign brands. Taking S&A water chiller as an instance, the brands it serves always include: Rofin, SYNRAD, SPI, DEOS, UNIVERSAL and COHERENT. Currently, there are not so many metal RF brands in China. What we’re familiar with just includes CRD and JS.
Talking about the CRD laser brand, we have a laser customer, who has been using the CRD metal RF tube with 30W power for the application in laser marker. (The standard cooling device for the 30W metal RF tube is S&A CW-5200 water chiller with 1400W cooling capacity. ) All of the laser customers accessed by S&A have a good feeling with CRD metal RF tube, which runs stably with high precision in lasing.
Although the domestic high power metal RF tubes are not comparable with the famous foreign brands, some of the low power metal RF tubes can still work very well.

Why had the compressor been started frequently when S&A CW-5200 water chiller for 100W IPG fiber?

“ Would you please explain why the compressor has been started frequently when the CW-5200 water chiller is connected to our device?”
“Hello! Generally speaking, there is no problem if CW-5200 water chiller with 1400W cooling capacity is used to work for 100W IPG fiber laser. Would you please send an on-site picture to me?”
After observing the on-site picture from the customer, I found that the customer’s IPG fiber laser to be cooled was not a 100W but a 200W laser. For this reason, the cooling capacity of CW-5200 water chiller could not meet the cooling requirement of the device.
“Hello! As your fiber laser is a 200W laser, then our CW-6000 water chiller with 3000W cooling capacity would be more suitable to you.”
After the communication with the customer, I contacted immediately the logistics department of S&A for the delivery of a CW-6000 water chiller so that the customer could receive it sooner.
“Things are totally different with CW-6000 water chiller. It works immediately with a good cooling effect after the connection. You’ve worked so efficient, GOOD!”

Why do the cooling water discharged from the chiller smelled extremely foul and looked light green

A customer purchased S&A chiller CW-5200 to cool xenon lamp laser depilator. However, an unbelievable thing happened after the water chiller was delivered to the customer: After the machine was connected, water discharged from the chiller smelled extremely foul and looked light green. As S&A had never encountered such things, we reckoned that it might be the deterioration of water quality when water had penetrated into the tank within the chiller during the transportation. Then according to the instruction from S&A, the customer re-poured purified water into the chiller and drained it. Such a situation never occurred again after the operation had been repeated several times.
