A customer got a S&A chiller CW-5000 (T-503)
connected to CO2 laser and got water temp set to 21.5 degrees. When
laser job is ongoing temperature is controlled properly (almost constant
21.3-21.5 degree) but he found when the job is over it cools down to
19.4 degrees. Ambient temperature is 16.5 degrees.
Generally speaking, that temperature in this case should vary from 21.0 degrees to 22.0 degrees.
That is because the chiller does not install heater and the ambient
temp reach 16.5 degrees. Therefore, when the job is over or turning off
the laser, the water temperature will cool down to 19.4 degrees.
If you need to keep the set water temp, pls install heater.
