One of our customers, Mr. Guo who is mainly
engaged in the provision of customized glass screen, or mobile phone
touch screen for the mobile phone manufacturers, had used CNC+diamond
cutter for the cutting at the very start. However the direct contact
with the glass screen would easily lead to the cracking of glass screen
with a rough cutting edge, and thus resulted in a low production yield,
which was just around 65%.
Such a yield has led to a reduction in profit due to the significant increase of the glass screen consumables. After having an understanding from multiple channels, Mr. Guo chose Inno 15W UV solid-state laser to produce and process touch screens. The UV laser solid cutting machine can achieve a yield of up to 98% with good cutting quality, small deformation, smooth and beautiful appearance.
As a certain amount of heat will be generated during the operation of the UV laser cutting machine, it’s necessary to match it with a water cooling equipment.
