1. Cooling performance

Water cooling, as its name suggests, uses circulating water to take away the heat generated by the high speed rotating spindle. This is in fact a very effective way to take away the heat, for the spindle will remain below 40 degree C after water runs through it. However, air cooling just uses cooling fan to dissipate the spindle’s heat and it is easily affected by the ambient temperature. Therefore, water cooling is often used in high power spindle while air cooling is often the consideration of low power spindle.


2. Noise level

3. Frozen water problem

This is very common in water cooling solution, i.e. industrial water chiller in cold-weather condition. In this circumstance, water is easy to get frozen. And if users don’t notice this problem and run the spindle directly, the spindle may be broken in just a few minutes. But this could be dealt with by adding diluted anti-freezer into the chiller or adding a heater inside. For air cooling, this is not a problem at all.

Comparing with water cooling, air cooling is more expensive.

What kinds of change can laser bring to glass processing?

Laser processing as a new manufacturing technique has immersed in different industries in the recent years. Reasons and solutions for poor refrigeration performance in industrial water chiller

Industrial water chiller consists of condenser, compressor, evaporator, sheet metal, temperature controller, water tank and other components. Laser engraving, a technique that brings color to our life
